Watch the Weight Melt Away

If you follow protocal on this diet, which I did, you will be amazed to watch the pounds and inches literally melt away. In reading an article on weight loss, I discovered that there are three types of fat.

The first type of fat is the fat that protects our nerve ends. It is most commonly found on the bottoms of our feet. Without this fat, you would not be able walk around because there are so many nerve endings at your feet. It would be too painful to walk.

The second type of fat is the fat that is used to embed our skeletal system. The bones need this fat to stay apart . It also helps to fill out our lean muscle. Without it, you would always have really tight muscle and feel like you need a massage. The fat is useful for the function of the body.

The third type of fat is what we would typically relate fat to be. It is the stored reserve that makes us look bigger. It usually stores on your hips, thighs, stomache, and under the arms. This fat is basically of no use to us. It is also the hardest fat to get rid of.

Most of the time, when you go on a diet and starve your body of the nutrition that it needs, you will lose weight but not inches. The reason for this is that you are losing the fat that your body actually needs to function. On the hCG diet, the medicine actually targets the fat reserves to help you lose weight and inches. I am extremely pleased with the results that I have had. I lost 58 pounds and 6 pant sizes on the diet. All of this in just twelve small weeks. This has absolutely been a life changer.

Food for hCG

When on the diet or taking the shots, your food intake is quite limited. You are allowed to eat a variety of foods, but the portions may seem very small. Trust me, you are not gonna starve. You are allowed as much coffee, tea or water as you can drink. However the coffee and tea can not have sugar or cream. You are only allowed 1 teaspoon of cream per day.



For lunch, you are allowed 100 grams or 3.5 ounces of chicken, lean beef, or white fish, shrimp , crab, lobster. Those measurements are to be taken befor the meat is cooked. You are allowed one of the following fruits; apple, orange, a handful of strawberries, or half of a grapefruit. You are also allowed to have 100 grams of a vegetable that is low in starches. These all can be seasoned with any spices except for sugar.

For dinner you are allowed the same things as you are allowed for lunch. I have heard that you should eat different meat choices for lunch and dinner. I did not follow these guidelines very well so I don't know if it matters that much. You will learn the beauty of the different spices on this diet. What is good and what is overboard. I loved to use Franks Redhot sauce to season with.

That First Week

I will not lie, the first week on this diet was very rough. I had a headache and was hungry all the time. I didn't think that I was going to make it. I was lucky enough to have a coach that had lost over 100lbs on the diet helping me to realize that the goal was worth the sacrifice.


Training myself to eat 500 calories was very hard. I looked at what I normally would consume in a day and saw that I would, on a regular basis, consume over 4000 calories in a single day. I was killing myself and didn't even know it. On a normal day our body needs between 1500 and 2000 calories and I was doubling that.

I realized that this change was for the good of my body and was going to save my life. Looking to the end result was the only thing that kept me going. I was flushing out the toxins in my body, and I guess that alone should have made me feel good. The First Day of the hCG Diet




Some doctors may suggest to eat normally during the first two days of the diet, but others suggest to gorge. Eat as much fatty food as you can. Even to the point of eating excess. This will kick start your metabolism so that early on in the diet, you are not too miserable.

On the first day, take the shot along with a couple of cream filled doughnuts. For added measure, eat a couple of twinkies. Then you will want to make yourself some pancakes, eggs, and sausage to boot. Butter those cakes with as much butter as you can stand. Remember, this will be the last time in a while that you will be able to enjoy these things.

During the morning hours, snack on a few more doughnuts and twinkies. What the heck, throw in a Snickers bar or two for good effect.

Lunch will be so much fun. Go to any fast food place and get their most unhealthy meal that they may have. I prefer a double bacon cheeseburger myself. Load that badboy to the hilt with Mayo, cheese, and bacon. You can even load on some onion rings to top it off. Don't forget to add a milkshake or malt to your lunch, as well as a large soda. All this with fries and you are on your way to a successful diet, if you don't have a heart attack first.

Continue through the day with chips, candy, and soda til dinner time. My dinner consisted of a huge peice of prime rib. Then I had a large baked potato with all the trimmings, extra butter, sourcream, bacon bits, cheese, and chives. Mmmmmmmmm, I am getting hungry typing this. Top this dinner with your favorite desert. Chocolate cake and a large scoop of ice cream is great if you don't have a favorite.

Continue to snack on baked goods, candy, and chips throughout the evening until you are ready to go to bed. Eat one more twinkie before you go to bed and wash it down with a large glass of chocolate milk. If you get hungry through the night, eat more. You are gonna be able to do this for only one more day, so make the most of it.

WOW, I Feel Great

Have you ever bent over to tie your shoes, and had to hold your breath? It is the little things that you notice that makes losing weight worth it. Yesterday, as I was bent over to tie my shoes, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn't have to hold my breath. Tying my shoes from a standing position was a breeze. Also, I can look down and see my feet, what have I been missing? My feet for sure.

Now when I go out to walk around the neighborhood, it is fun to look down and see my feet moving with ease. I walk a little quicker and even enjoy walking at all. Before, it was a real struggle to get off my butt and take a walk. With hCG the weight came off with little exercise and encouraged me to actually get up and do something with my life.

What a relief it is to weigh less. To be able to do the little things that seem so simple, yet, with weight are very monotenous. I feel like I have a strong new outlook on life. Let the good times roll, I am ready to take on the world.

I Dropped 58lbs In Twelve Weeks

I recently finished doing the hCG diet. Let me tell you, I feel amazing. I lost a total of fifty-eight pounds in twelve weeks. The hCG diet consists of injecting shots into your body and keeping a five hundred calorie per day diet.

You might think that only five hundred calories would kill you, but I actually was able to maintain plenty of energy and rarely felt too hungry. The shots actually count for something like twelve hundred calories, making you not feel hungry.

I lost pounds and inches with very little exersize at all. Excersise consisted of a half hour walk every day. Other than that excersise was discouraged because it was not something that I was accustomed to. So, by maintaining five hundred calories and walking a short distance, I was able to drop fifty eight pounds and five pant sizes. This is absolutely amazing to me. Never have I been able to diet and lose weight and inches like I did this time.

The first two days were great. I got to eat anything that had fat in it, and as much as i wanted of it. Talk about eating a full box of Twinkies in one day. That was a lot of fun. I ate a couple of bacon cheeseburgers and all the french fries I could manage to shove in my face. I even chased them with a malted milkshake. Maybe that was to make it so I didn't want any more for awhile, because that made me sick.

I must admit, however, the first week on the diet was miserable. I guess this is because of all the toxins that were leaving my body. I had a headache and was very irritable. After that first week though, it was all smooth sailing. Every day when I got on the scale, I was amazed at the progress. I even had one day where I lost six pounds. Six pounds in one day? Are you kidding me??
